Not enough emphasis on camping the enemy mesmer and [shame][diversion] on monks on cycle when you're wiping.

I feel that some points in this guide is just immature bullshit but I am not gonna comment on it seeing as I don't simply wanna state the obvious.

But one thing I like that he said that I think most Mesmers doesn't do / doesn't realise is to follow your warriors and use dmg / interupts at the right time. I feel that most mesmers doesn't realise this, and which is also, there aren't very many even halfdecent mesmers in the game atm, cause it's just "shatter in 3-2-1" in most guilds and they just stay with that mentality. Use your damn skills, especially where the warrior goes.

Or you can just omegaspike people.

Sry but In my opinion this guide is bada don't give you better one cause I'm too lazy (at least now) but take a note that not all advices are correct...

The easiest example to show how bad it is, is paragraph about e-surge mesmers. First advice should be LEARN TO PLAY P BLOCK CAUSE IT'S F*CKING MOST POWERFULL ELITE FOR A MESMER!

Points 5 and 9 really hit the mark.

But seriously, it's a nice practical guide for the pretender mesmers out there.

9. Whine about Euro servers.

PBlock can't be played by Americans on Euro servers, unless interrupting with 400-800 ping is your cup of tea. Most Americans can't use it during mAT's because most of the teams in the mAT are European, and therefore force the servers in which the match is played to be European servers. It's not even possible to interrupt in the 400-800 ping range (with spikes up to 1,000 ping) reliably with Power Block.

But I do agree, Power Block is incredibly powerful, and can single-handedly change a game instantly. It's a good skill if it's possible to use it.

Best part was about following a warrior's damage and doing stuff without waiting for a vent call (which by then misses the good opportunity in most cases). That's why I like mesmers who play like warriors (offensive mindset) instead of people who strongly identify themselves as a versatile caster (who more often than not tend to hang back and think nothing of sitting around waiting for something specific instead of utilizing their skills on the fly as well as possible).

get it?
Most of the guys from oK (well, now defunct) are better than about 90% of the trollers that frequent QQ forums.

I thought this guide was insightful.

This is a guide, i don't see why people need to flame someone and say "this guide is bada" when obviously they can't even spell. If you don't agree with the guide fine, Lutz isn't saying that this is the right way to play a mesmer, he's (I'm assuming) just saying that this is a guide to play a mesmer. If you don't agree with him, get over it and move on.

1) Powerblock RC first.

My guide is better than yours, amounts to three words and take one second to read.

Don´t get interrupted
Cancel 2secs spells if your under pressure.

Remember that, as a Mesmer, you will be carrying a Hard Res, so you will be often enemy´s spikes target.

PD: If you are Euro, whine about Asian servers. It works. Really.
